Fabulous People Party Awards Call for Nominees
 
Since its founding in 1907, the YWCA Greater Austin has recognized individuals in the community with different award categories at different times. In the same manner that our services have evolved to meet the needs, and reflect the social reality and diversity the community we serve, so to have our awards, Thus we are excited to ask for your help in identifying outstanding nominees in the following categories:

Woman of Color Leading Change: This award recognizes a self-identified woman of color who has led change to the benefit of the Greater Austin Community in one or all of YWCA’s areas of impact: health and safety of Women and Girls, Economic Empowerment and Advancement of Women, Racial Justice and Civil Rights.

Ally Award: This award recognizes a self-identified man that has impacted the Greater Austin community through his work to eliminate racism, empower women and create a more equitable community.

Legacy Award: This cross-discipline award recognizes an individual, couple, or group who has committed their lives or careers to eliminating racism and empowering women through a track record of public policy or service. This category also encompasses private enterprises or organizations that have contributed to initiatives or have institutionalized innovative practices that promote the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women.

#NewRadical Award: This award recognizes a self-identified woman between 18-35 years of age that demonstrates a passion and dedication to the elimination of racism and empowerment of women by striving to make history through courage, connection and change.
