Digimon, Lucky Star Actress Philece Sampler Has Passed Away

Versatile actress Philece Sampler has passed away at age 67, reportedly from a heart attack.

Besides her live-action work in such shows as Days of Our Lives and Another World, Sampler has a long list of credits dubbing anime into English. She played Mimi Tachikawa in Digimon, as well as the characters Cody Hida and Koromon. She voiced Tanjiro’s younger brother Rokuta in the hit Demon Slayer, plus Hiyori Tamura in Lucky Star, Sarara in Bottle Fairy, Haré in Haré+Guu, Lannion in The Promised Neverland, Mayor Margaret in SD Gundam Force, Binka in Shinzo, and Sakura Rokujo in Tokko, to name a few.

She sometimes used the stage names Victoria Pryne, Vicky Green, or Lindsey Eaton in her anime work.
