An anime-influenced series telling the life story of a young ninja warrior in world known as PowerLand. I'm teling this story via concept album format much like Styx's "Killroy Was Here" and Daft Punk's "Discovery".

The Story of PowerLand
PowerLand Theme

In Bermu, the Capitol city of PowerLand, two brothers named Forenoch and Jordan Rey, discover the hidden power within the diamond, a natural resource of their world. This power, through advanced technologic applications, gives the diamond various properties, including but not limited to, cloaking, explosives, anti-gravity, and fuel.

The brothers are in disagreement as Forenoch Rey, with his ties to the Bermu government, wants to use the diamond for military use while Jordan, wants it to be free for everyone. Jordan leaves with the conflict left unresolved.

A few months later, while Jordan is on a buisness trip in a nearby town, it's invaded by Bermu's forces using the prototype weaponized diamond formula and its people are taken prisoner. Jordan is taken to his brother and another argument ensues, resulting in Jordan being escorted off the premises. He is further banned from the Bermu Diamond power plant and mines.

When Jordan gets home, he tells his family and some relatives the news. He then tells all of them to leave town immediately and they listen, leaving behind most of their belongings. That night Jordan planted explosives all throughout the power plant to destroy his work. Though he was caught by the guards, they were too late in diffusing the bombs as they go off. Yet an unanticipated chain reaction ignited the diamond mines below the plant, destroying everything. There were only a couple hundred survivors out of the few million that inhabited Bermu.

That day changed Celes forever as she never forgave her uncle for his greed, resulting in what all of PowerLand called “the Age of the Burn”. Forenoch Rey soon became known as “Foe the Popcorn Master”. The weaponized diamond utilized microtechnology the size of a kernel—and he was it’s inventor.

Yet he forgets about the warning posted on the front door of each town he planned to invade: “Beware of the Flare”.

On her quest, Celes meets others who help her bring down her uncle and liberate their world, however, as the story progresses, she finds out there are greater forces at work behind the scenes. The real instigator behind Bermu’s destruction has yet to be seen.

We would love to have you on board to make this dream a reality!

I'm working with a producer and a few singers to get this album completed. I've estimated the cost of the album and reached a total of $3000. That number includes the price of each base track (instrumental), all vocals, and the mixing and mastering of each song.

Biographies

1. Celes Angelwood-Rey

Blazin' Fast

The main character of the PowerLand Series. The Flare, as what the inhabitants of PowerLand know her as, continually liberates lesser nations under the oppression of the Diamond Rey Empire. Some see her survival as "extraordinary" as the Popcorn Master has tried his best to exterminate his relatives, big and small, as he feels that they are a threat to his reign. Yet two of them always seem to escape certain doom; His ex-wife Quantona James, mayor of a futuristic city bearing her name, and his niece, the short-tempered vigilante who has in more cases than one hampered his plans for world domination. Celes is a courier by trade but trains under Quantona's guidance to help her fight for justice.

2. Quantona James

Variety

Quantona James, Also known as Aunt Q by her niece, Celes Angelwood-Rey, is the mayor of a city bearing her name. She is the ex-wife of Forenoch Rey. Ms. Q, as what she is affectionately called by her peers and business associates, was among the thousands that fled Bermu just before the catastrophe, settling in the north westernmost part of the PowerLand Pangea. Here, Q, along with those with her, built a city on the foundation of revolutionary technologies. As a result, the city of Quantona has become one of the most advanced technologic cities of all PowerLand, rivaling Eno, the militaristic city owned by the Popcorn Master himself. Under her guidance, Celes becomes better equipped to fight for justice in a society at the mercy of a ruthless enemy, as a vigilante Flare. When not fighting crime, Celes is one of Quantona’s shipping supervisors (but mostly a courier) for Quantonan Investments, a multinational corporation specializing not just in financial advisment, but commercial (and sometimes military) merchandising, and manufacturing. As a philanthropist, Quantona supplies the lesser, unknown cities with the necessities to survive, including but not limited to protecting themselves from Foe’s army.

3. Det. Othniel Goodman

My Nebula (Vocal Version)

No one knows exactly where he came from except his wife and fellow temporal agent Zahra. The two of them came to PowerLand in search of their daughter, whom they nicknamed Crystal, after she was abducted by their archnemesis, Dr. James Lunningham several years ago. After settling down in a place known to some as New Hamilton (Formerly known as Acid Town), Othniel and Zahra found themselves fighting one of the Popcorn Master's generals, Dr. Michaels, and his monstrous creations that terrorize the inhabitants. 2kReturner and the Forest Flower, codenames the two were known by, have become Acid Town's self-appointed sheriff (Zahra) and deputy (Othniel) for their heroic deeds.

4. Mackie Nexus

Wake Me

Many centuries before Bermu existed, a war was fought between two races that were once allies. The Anomaly and the Nexus once lived in peace until Don Anomaly's treatchery, thus turning their most trusted friends into the most hated of all PowerLand. Out of this war rose a champion, Mackie Nexus. Yet her fate was during the battle against Zeno, one of the Nightmare's generals. Zeno sealed Mackie in a pillar of crystalline rock. Upon her release, almost two milieniums passed. The world was drastically different from the primitive culture she once knew. One thing was for certain, though... Mackie knew the Nightmare fully controlled PowerLand. It was her plan from the very beginning.

5. Lina Anomaly

Clash of the Anomalies

Legends say that Lina walks like a god among the inhabitants of PowerLand, possessing superhuman abilities that strike fear in the hearts of some but earning the respect and reverence of many. Throughout PowerLand's vast landscape filled with small, unamed towns, she has a cult that worships her with several shrines built in her name. Lina's true followers believe she would never sanction such a thing and thus fight on her behalf against these "false prophets". They know that Lina never viewed herself as a divine entity. At the most, these loyal ones are always fighting for her but it's a constant struggle. This is because the other "lesser towns" can't distinguish between Lina and her evil twin, known as the Nightmare, and often mistake Lina for the evil monster that's been terrorizing them for centuries. Lina's life long mission is to stop the Nightmare at all costs. It's rumored that the Nightmare was the instigator behind Bermu's fall. Currently, Nightmare's love for chaos involves causing civil unrest within the lesser towns. This often leaves the bigger cities, like Quantona, to deal with the influx of refugees in the wake of these incidents.
