In a year of apocalypse heralding-presidential nominees, bad Jared Leto performances and rainbow bagels, one flawless cultural artifact emerged to save us all: Stranger Things. If you're the type of person who loves ’80s movies, Winona Ryder and life on earth, then you probably watched (and re-watched) this timeless summer gem. Luckily, as Halloween approaches, so do a wave of sickening Stranger Things parties to make you feel as happy as you did that time Eleven made a kid pee his pants. Here's the rundown of Stranger Things events coming to NYC:

Stranger Things Party at Lot 45
Friday October 21–Sunday October 23 at 10pm; $20–$60
Hawkins get the immersive Brooklyn experience with this three-night rager, featuring waffles, trivia, Dungeons & Dragons, a costume contest and the chance to win a BMX bike. The DJ will be playing the entire Stranger Things soundtrack, so look out for that sick DeadMau5 remix of the opening titles.

The Skint Presents: Stranger Things (with candy) Halloween Party
Littlefield, Friday October 28 at 10:30pm; $5–$8
Party Like It's 1999's DJ Steve Reynolds brings his throwback party expertise to this ’80s bash, where he'll play the hits from 1983 and beyond that make girls like Nancy Wheeler go wild. Enjoy a supernatural photo booth, plenty of Christmas lights and the chance to make out to Toto's "Africa" on the dancefloor.

Stranger Things Halloween Dance & Costume Party
Videology, Saturday October 29 4pm–3am; $5
Start your night of Hawkins raging early with this ‘80s movie marathon and eggo dance party. You can crack open tab sodas like you're at Steve's pool and watch some of the horror classics that inspired Stranger Things.

Stranger Things Halloween
Brooklyn Warehouse TBA, Saturday October 29 at 9pm; $20–$30, after 1am $15
We're expecting gooey vines and sexy extradimensional creatures at this two-level Upside Down party. Get sweaty, join a seance, and even chill in a blanket-decked Castle Byers as this hootenanny goes late into the night. Costumes are mandatory, so you better get your white Matthew Modine hair nice and crispy now.

Bonus: Stranger Things Trivia
If you're ready to prove your knowledge of demigorgons, secret military science programs and nosebleeds, then head to Slattery's Midtown Pub on Monday October 10 with your own team of pre-teen adventurers for some free trivia. You can register here.

Better buy your tickets and start stringing up your Christmas lights now, or else you're going to be angrier than Wynona Ryder in... pretty much every episode of the show.

Show your love! Nominate your favorite local places for the Love New York Awards.
