We’ll explore finding a job during the recovery… but not just any job, your perfect job, and we’ll talk about how to do it, too. One of our guests will share research that people are now finding great jobs through “weak ties,” ties with people who are acquaintances rather than through their friends. In the days of social networking and a tough economy, we’ll hear about people here in the area who are making this practice work for them, and more.

What if you know what you’re good at in terms of skills, but not sure what companies need my these skills?

Mike,
Even though Charlotte aggregate unemployment is about 12%, what are the sectors with lower percentage unemployment?
What are the most marketable skill to get them?

Where can I find Marilyn’s book locally? It’s not in the big name bookstores….. Also what was the website and address for the place that offers free help with coaching on Tryon St.?

You can find the book at Paper Skyscraper on East. Blvd. And after this weekend, Joseph Beth in South Park (right by the mall) will also carry it.
