TV Article Get a first look at promotional art for ABC Family's Stitchers By Lindi Smith and Liz Prugh Published on April 30, 2015 12:00PM EDT Photo: ABC Family ABC Family’s first procedural drama, Stitchers, premieres on June 2, and we have a first look at the series’ promotional photos—featuring lead actress Emma Ishta rocking a fierce black body suit—as well as a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how they were made. Her badass outfit isn’t the only thing to take note of: All of the photos incorporate the element of water, which Ishta says is “a part of the technology behind stitching [her character’s] living consciousness into somebody else’s dead brain.” You read that right. Stitchers follows Kirsten (Ishta), who has been recruited into an underground government agency where she is “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased. Kirsten uses the memories of the dead to investigate unsolved murders and mysteries—hence the photos’ tagline, “Memories never die.” She is joined by a neuroscientist named Cameron (Kyle Harris), boss Maggie (Salli Richardson-Whitfield), and a bioelectrical engineer named Linus (Ritesh Rajan). Kirsten’s roommate, Camille (Allison Scagliotti), is also a part of the agency. The show was created and written by Jeffrey A. Schechter (Overruled), who acts as executive producer alongside Jonathan Baruch and Rob Wolken. ABC Family ABC Family ABC Family
