We will discuss and evaluate the past, present, and future transformations which are responsible for creating a powerful ecosystem that fosters innovation led by a community of researchers, entrepreneurs, staff, students, industry leaders, and local businesses and residents.

Come to hear visions of Georgia Tech researchers and partners for inventing the future by living it today. Stay to celebrate the career and accomplishments of Dr. Ron Hutchins from the many people who were influenced by his leadership at Georgia Tech.



Symposium Agenda:


Session 1: Guiding Principles and Lessons Learned - How past and current work can inform our future? (Moderator: Beth Mynatt)

Session 2: Research Horizons - How can new collaborative partnership models for research, industry, and community engagement spur innovation and build upon one another? (Moderator: Steve Cross)

Session 3: Communities and Sustainable Systems - How can integrated implementation approaches create unique and sustainable innovation neighborhoods? (Moderator: Jennifer Clark)

Session 4: Open Mic - How can we foster greater collaboration within our community to support sustainable innovation ecosystems?

Session 5: Roast n' Toast Reception (4:30-6:00pm) - Adjourn to the IPaT Suite in the Centergy Building (Suite 600) and celebrate the career and accomplishments of Dr. Ron Hutchins as he leaves Georgia Tech after 34 years of stellar leadership.
