This article is more than 5 years old.

Craft beer lovers rejoice. UK-based, multinational craft brewery pub chain called BrewDog announced the world’s first craft beer airline. You can now book a roundtrip flight in Feb. 2019 between London and Columbus - where BrewDog has a 42-acre location. The brewery even has its own craft beer hotel, The DogHouse. For now, this is a one-time event for Brew Dog investors, but there are plans for a wider public release in the future. See below for more information.

Enjoy craft beer and food pairings in the air

During the flight, you’ll be offered samples of specially crafted brews and appetizers. The company’s co-founder James Watt explained, “BrewDog Airlines will be an experience like no other, we’ve redesigned the flight experience for optimum beer enjoyment - from the food to the entertainment, the cabin crew and most of all, the specially brewed high-altitude beer.”

You’ll even get to enjoy the BrewDog Network, which is their version of in-flight entertainment. Rest up and take a nice nap, complete with your own BrewDog eye mask and a blanket.

Flight cost, dates, and details

While it’s understandable if you’re hoping this idea catches on to every airline, for now, it’s a one-time event from the company.

BrewDog staffer Elsa Druiett confirmed in an email, "It's a one time experience in February 2019 for BrewDog investors. However, BrewDog has plans to offer more frequent flights available to the wider public in the future."
