Age Matters.

Age Matters.

I am the founder of Tree Rings LLC. We are the world's first call center business exclusively staffed with Boomer and/or Retired adults from the communities of Sun City, Arizona (NW Phoenix). We deliver support for any organization that sells products and services to an older adult consumer. From sales to lead qualification to customer support, we are experts at servicing the older adult. Therefore, one question I am asked all the time is, "what does the name of your company mean?" I feel compelled to share a few thoughts regarding this.

Our society is driven by youthfulness. Every where you go, you see products, services and technologies that attempt to slow the aging process. However, from the moment we are born, we are all aging. Age is a good thing. So my business, Tree Rings, is all about representing age in a positive light with great people who have truly lived life and know how to relate to your customers.

If you've been fortunate to spend time in the Redwood Forests of Northern California, you have experienced what I mean. The trees in the Redwood Forest are awe inspiring. They represent wisdom, longevity, intelligence, strength, and power. They tell a story, a life story. They understand. They've been there, done that. In essence, our team of call center representatives, managers, trainers and supervisors have lived a long life, they are very successful, educated and wise. They are, quite simply, very good at what they do. An older adult knows how to more effective communicate, support and service your customers who are 40+ in age.

So, think about who your target audience is. Are they predominantly over 40 years of age? 60? or even 70? If so, you might consider a customer support strategy around the demographics and age of your customer base.
