NAVFAC is transforming. This discussion will explore NAVFAC’s technical authority, capabilities, FY20 accomplishments, and FY21 challenges. Specific to MIDLANT, this discussion will review FY20 accomplishments and key highlights, FY21 workload and current operations (Shipyard Optimization, Resilience, Business Operations) Project Management, industry engagement, and enabling Warfighting Lethality through shore platforms at both places and bases. 

Learning Objectives:  1. Understand NAVFAC’s role as a Dept. of the Navy Systems Command 2. Understand key NAVFAC MIDLANT business improvement and outreach initiatives that deliver consequential outcomes to the Warfighter. 3. Understand the Expeditionary Engineering capability that enables Warfighting.
