Young emcee Skypp, a native son of Indianapolis, Indiana makes a strong statement on his new 8 song EP called HUMILITY (which achieved a chart high #29 on independent album release chart on iTunes recently). With the lead single "No Shame" featuring Lee'A Ro on vocals, the rapper tackles the crime and despair in the urban communities of the USA. A totally non-explicit lyrics project that tells stories of his epiphany from his upbringing to where he is now, Skypp is on a path to be mentioned in the same breath with emcees like J. Cole, Eminem and Jay-Z due to his powerful delivery and cadence. He uses a variety of sound landscapes to get the message across and for the most part it is a solo journey, albeit there are a few guest vocals by the afore-mentioned Ms. Ro, and singers Zach Thomas and Zay Foggs. One comes to the conclusion that on HUMILITY, Skypp is the only emcee needed.
