They say your smile is the window into your soul - and it seems the great and good of Hollywood and even royalty take the allegory pretty seriously.
From Kylie Jenner to Zac Efron, some of our favourite A-listers have undergone major teeth transformations, swapping their crooked gnashers for a set of poker straight, blindingly-bright set of teeth – and the overall difference it can make to the face really is remarkable. Hey, they don't call it a 'Hollywood smile' for nothing.
Maybe it's the rise of treatments to whiten and brighten that made perfectly identical whites so popular; perhaps the option to realign our gnashers without breaking the bank plays a part - tooth contouring and bonding are honestly revolutionary - or possibly it's because every time a celeb pauses for the paps, a flash of veneers makes it impossible to know one Hollywood smile from the next.

While some celebs went for a whole new set of veneers, others kept things a little more subtle - even Kate Middleton had a smile transformation ahead of her wedding to Prince William.
Were all those unique, individual A-lister teeth really so undesirable before? Sure, coffee addiction has contributed to the need for a bleach boost every now and again, but we don't recall the red carpet ever being peppered with crooked grins...or do we? Maybe we just can't remember the days before whitening (and a touch of the odd all-perfecting Insta filter/Facetuning) became the norm...

Millie's smile was innocent and care free and we loved it... however you can't fault this new transformed whiter and more aligned set of washers
Although Cardi B has once re-iterated that she wouldn't change her teeth to please other people...that wasn't to say she couldn't get them straightened to please herself. Good for you sis!
Young Willoughby teeth pre-braces weren't bad at all... but now they're all aligned, stain free and most importantly still natural looking!

It's like they've filed them down too much and have hit all my nerve endings. It hurts constantly. It feels like I've got electricity going through my teeth." Ouch!
