Report: Google Wants to Add Home Services Provider Booking
I remember a year or two back Eric Schmidt saying that Amazon was one of its greatest competitors. Clearly, if this report is correct, Google is emulating Amazon.
Google might want to help you book your next plumber, electrician, or house-cleaner.
The company plans to announce a new product to help its users connect with home services providers, sources tell BuzzFeed's Caroline O'Donovan.
Meaning, if you Google "plumber," you could be directly connected with a local professional, not just through ads that that service provider bought as is the case today.

A logical step in the next level of making a buck. :)
Google wants to emulate EVERYONE. If we did that we'd all be "penalized". From where I'm sitting, Google's no longer a search engine, they are a skilled scraper and penalty engine.
