Graniterock certified for green concrete
Graniterock has become one of 10 ready-mix concrete producers nationwide to gain an environmental product declaration for green concrete mixes from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design program.
This gives builders another option as they seek green materials to qualify for LEED certification.
This declaration, certified by the National Ready Mix Concrete Association, provides performance data about the lifetime environmental impacts of the product. Data collection, analysis and review process took about a year.
