Cali Mathers is not your typical girl. She is feisty, athletic, but young and naïve. She has dreams that she is striving to attain. She meets Zack when she first starts high school at the age of fourteen. Zack, with his small close-knit group of senior friends takes the freshman, Cali, under their wing to protect her from the other jealous girls. Zack becomes overly protective of Cali and he chases off all the other guys who are trying to pursue her.

Cali and Zack are intense! I mean, from the start of the book you get this serious alpa-male Zack, his friends do what he says and he usually gets what he wants. Cali is head-strong and tuff as nails, from playing soccer to hockey, she is just one seriously beautiful yet amazing athlete. She starts our 14 in this book, but the timeline increases quickly enough that eventually she is 18 and the book kicks off into over-drive. I won't deny, this book is FAST-PACED and yet such a good read! Even though there is a moment of infidelity, we find that Cali and Zack truly have an unbreakable bond. They both have actions that hurt one another, but ultimately this is an HEA that shows what true love and support feels like. Yes, there is drama and a little suspense, but overall it's a sweet love story of working through life with someone you love by your side....especially when things get tough. #oneclick #mustread #lovestory

I really liked the characters. Even though this type of romance isn't what I typically read it was still very interesting...Zack is the alpha male of the book. Cali is his submissive girlfriend. Cali meets Zack if high school. She's the freshmen he's a almost graduating. She's only 14 when they meet when he's 18. Zack has a couple of close friends named Richie and Luke and they're quite the lady killers too. Drama occurs toward the middle between the 4 and all hell breaks loose. Anyone who loves alpha males and drama. This book is for you. Totally recommend it. Ginger Sharp did a great job.

I don't really read a lot of alpha male stories, but man, this one may have me adding more to my list! Cali and Zack are wonderfully written characters and I loved how fast-paced the book was. I really didn't want to put it down! I'm happy I read this and I highly recommend it!

This is a well written book. The characters were so real and the emotional turmoil they experienced, just made they so very lovable and relatable. The story line had just enough edge of your seat action and intricate love and hate between the characters to make intriguing. Can't wait for more of this series.
