The 4A’s invites you to the Re:ACT Evening Reception on the Horizon Media Rooftop, as we celebrate the launch of The Manhattan Early College school for Advertising (MECA) and the 2015 graduating class from the High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media (IAM).

Re:ACT is a full-day industry engagement event offered Thursday, May 7th during Creative Week. Volunteers will have one day to help students from IAM and MECA concept, produce and present an integrated advertising campaign by the end of the school day. The afternoon will culminate in an evening reception from 6 to 9pm to recognize Re:ACT volunteers, sponsors and industry partners who've volunteered throughout the school year.

Join Momentum Worldwide Chairman & CEO, Chris Weil as we honor him as the new Chair of the 4A’s High School Initiative Advisory Board and raise money to support the next generation of talent for our industry. Doors open at 6PM sharp, with food and drink provided by the following sponsors - Deutsch, Wieden + Kennedy, Momentum, Horizon Media, and Stoli.

If you’re interested in mentoring the next generation of talent, pledge your support here by signing up to volunteer for this note worthy cause.

*Proceeds raised for this event will be donated to the Project ACT Fund, which was established to provide opportunities and resources for a variety of early access talent development initiatives like IAM and MECA.

About The 4A’s High School Initiative:

The 4A’s High School Initiative was established to ensure New York City youth have access to a quality high school education along with training and development opportunities in the field of advertising and media. The High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media (IAM) was established in 2008 as the first accredited public high school exclusively dedicated to preparing students for careers in advertising and media. In 2014, the 4A’s formed a partnership with CUNY and the NYC Department of Education, to establish the Manhattan Early College School for Advertising (MECA). MECA, the first six-year program dedicated to pipeline high-potential youth into our industry, will provide graduates with a industry endorsed high-school diploma and Associates Degree at no cost to student or family.
