Last week's biggest sales: Tom Kundig remodel in Bellevue gets $6M

Last week's big sale was a Tom Kundig remodel of a Roland Terry classic in Bellevue

Listed for: $5.99M
Received: $6.05M
Size: 3-BR, 4.5-bath, 4,500 sq. ft.
Location: 5666 Pleasure Point Lane SE, Bellevue
The Skinny: Originally built by legendary Pacific Northwest architect Roland Terry in 1959, modern architect Tom Kundig came in and remodeled this place (with help from Alchemie Landscape Architects) in 1997. It sold in August 2015 for $5.75M but turned around just a few months later and hit the market once more. Looks like the short-term owners made a nice little return on that investment. As for the residence, the centerpiece is the 4,500 square-foot main house featuring a Kundig-signature mix of steel, concrete, and glass to create an indoor/outdoor living experience that maximizes the location (and 270 degree views).

Listed for: $6.15M
Received: $5.695M
Size: 4-BR, 4.25-bath, 5,363 sq. ft.
Location: 1851 Evergreen Point Road, Medina
The Skinny: After listing in May at $6.15M, they brought the price down a little bit to $5.895M in July. Less than a month later they went pending and eventually closed at slightly less than that. Rebuilt in 2013 stunning, this Medina Gold Coast residence is bright & airy thanks to soaring ceilings, high-quality finishes & windows for days.

Listed for: $3.58M
Received: $3.38M
Size: 5-BR, 4.5-bath, 5,390 sq. ft.
Location: 9833 NE 15th Street, Bellevue
The Skinny: Sold in 2012 for $2.85M, this place has seen it's fortunes rise with the market. It took three months to go pending but ultimately they got in the range of what they were asking. The Steven D. Smith custom home features a Viking pro chef's kitchen, home theater, wine cellar, and rec room with refreshment center.
