Two women from Ireland, who are apparently “twin strangers,” met for the first time this past weekend. Niamh Geaney, 26, found her doppelganger, Karen Branigan, 29, and they lived only an hour apart.

Their meeting was a part of the Twin Strangers campaign, the online media effort Geaney and her friends started in an attempt to find their lookalikes. Geaney, Terence Manzanga, 22, and Harry English, 26, challenged each other to find their most convincing “twin” within 30 days.

The three reached out on social media for the project. It took about two weeks for Geaney to find her doppelganger. There are still two weeks left for Terence and Harry to find their twins.
