If you played the original, skip. However, consider this if you enjoy series of The Legend of Zelda. It is supposed to be set "early" in the timeline. I enjoyed the colorful graphics, but some might not. It comes across sort of like painting. I suggest this game for fans young and old.

HD remake of another era

Last true Zelda game in the Zelda series that retained the original dungeon's style and the classic Zelda feel. I enjoyed Skyward Sword a lot more than Tears of The Kingdom. The story line in Skyward Sword is one of the best. The boss's retain the classical feel and are enjoyable to beat. The only negative aspect about Skyward Sword that I have to say, is the horrible controller motion game play. Nintendo should have retained this game to all normal controller functions. I have gotten use to the joy con functionality, but is not as good as normal controller controls. Also the switching back and forth during these during the game takes the enjoyment of playing out of it. If it wasn't for this, Skyward Sword would have been in the top 5 best Zelda games. Skyward Sword is a must play for any Zelda series fan.

Last True Zelda Game

I love this game. The music is probably the best in the entire Legend of Zelda franchise. Skyward is so fun and relaxing to play. You fly, you fall, you fight, you solve puzzles, travel back and forth through time, and much more. It's worth every penny. I had this game for my Wii, Wii U, and now my switch. A must-have for LOZ fans.

One of the best in the series

My sons really enjoyed playing this game and had a lot of things for them to do in the game and it was even hard enough for my eight-year-old with puzzles and riddles to figure out but also easy enough for my four-year-old to play

Great game

The item that I had ordered was not at the store that I had Selected. that made that may have been the case at the time in which I paid, however, this is the first time that had happened to me. as a result.  I went to the wrong store first.
.This was a learning curve for me.I will know to check more carefully in the future.

Excellent HD version of this game

Great port of the wii classic. For me, it was this generation of Zelda RPGs that focused my attention to the franchise and genre as a whole, as i never could get into the 2D roaming and random battles of the previous iterations. i would say this game is an enjoyable and fun experience and worth the now reduced price. This game is a great first introduction if you haven't tried Zelda before.

True to the genre Zelda experience

Package tracking seemed more difficult than needed to be and couldn't tell why package was delayed a day. Other than that great straight forward service.

Not as informative as the old Zelda. here seems like you just wander around looking for stuff, when before, it told you a lot more about what to find.

I have been sucked into this game. I did not expect it to be this fun and have been pleasantly surprised. The combat is great and far more detailed than the usual hack-and-slash, even if you don't use the motion controls. The regions and dungeons are very intricately designed and are a blast to explore. A new skill or item is presented in every region (and every dungeon within) and opens up new gameplay and exploration options—the core of what makes classic Zelda games great.

On the downside, the opening hour or so is incredibly dry. And despite being the HD version, the textures have not aged well.

I felt like I was taking a chance with this purchase, and I have not been disappointed. There is a little melancholy to playing this game. After this title, the series shifted to open world and open exploration, for better or worse. Skyward Sword may be set at the chronological start of the series, but it was the end of an era.

This game was listed as new but it arrived with the plastic wrap torn off and loosely placed over the game. I opened the box and the inside was slightly damaged. It seemed to be a used game instead of new. This was a birthday gift for my grandson and there was no way I was giving it to him in that condition. I immediately made arrangements to return it.
