Thunder Bay is playing host to some guests from one of its Sister Cities this week.
A delegation from Gifu, Japan landed shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday for a two-day visit.
Next year will be the 10th anniversary of Thunder Bay and Gifu's formal sister city relationship, and the mayor of Gifu says the exchange of culture is key to that relationship.
The group will be visiting several locales around the city.
That includes a tour of Lakehead University, the waterfront, and an official dinner and cultural exchange at Fort William Historical Park.
They'll also ring the Peace Bell Thursday at city hall.
