1. imo, it's inappropriate in the EXTREME to put.... POWs, and....
... 4 star generals who fought in Vietnam on this list...

Don't get me wrong - there's PLENTY of shit to deservedly speak of such people. But to lump them in with the chickenhawks is a MASSIVE wrong.

Or put it this way: the wrong committed by the POWs and the 4 star Generals is NOT the wrong of being too cowardly to put oneself in harm's way, while at the same time being willing to put others in harm's way.

I think there's a WORLD'S difference between the kinds of wrongs. Not (necessarily) greater-lesser, but DIFFERENT.

imo.

2. It's grouped democrats vs republicans
There are those on the democratic side who did not serve. There are those on the republican side who did serve.

3. Powell proves that you can give 35 years of your life to America.
Then ruin a 35 year reputation in 5 seconds, by waving around a vial of powder before the UN. Funny that.

4. Thanks for the amazing list of GOP chickenhawks
It's a who's who in the GOP party.

Shame on them in every way. It makes Michael Savage, Rush, and all the rest look the clowns they are.

On the boat over to Korea (he was a 1st Lt. in the Marines)
That position had an 80% casualty rate ..... he called his
daddy ..... a U.S. senator from VA ....... Daddy called the Sec. of the
Navy ..... Pat and 2 friends got off the boat for duty in Japan.
