Strain wave gearing was invented in 1957 by C.W. Musser and hailed as beinger more efficient and lighter than traditional gearing systems. Musser probably couldn't have imagined that 60 years later his invention would be perfectly rendered in plastic bricks. This thing is awe-inspiring.
