A Helpful Online Resource Run By RV’ers, For RV’ers!

rv picHey RV’ers! We are always on the lookout for the latest and greatest resources to share with our RVing family, and today we want to tell you about a handy site called rversonline.org. RVers Online is a very easy to navigate, and user friendly website that is run by RVers for RVers. The creators are Tom and Stephanie Gonser of Bend, Oregon. This is a little about their story, “When not “on the road”, our “center of gravity” is a townhome near Bend, Oregon, with a small second home on the coast in Florence, OR. After completing professional careers, and guiding our two children through their education and into their own lives, we accomplished a long standing objective – to travel… on a schedule and path of our own creation… pausing where we choose… all the while, enjoying the wonders of a great RV lifestyle. Our home bases in Oregon are too enticing to let us become full timers. However, we are confirmed “extended time” RVers, and savor every moment of our travels over the road”.  The purpose of their site is to share information, tips, ask and answer questions, and to just be a general one stop resource for all things RV related. Their site mission is listed as this, “RVers Online is published as a public service information resource for RVers. With some 2,000 pages of non-commercial information, this site is based on “RVers helping RVers”. Our goal is to provide an independent quality online experience for RVers, park owners, and others participating in the world of RVing. You will find no advertisements at this site, and nothing offered for sale…” The site offers a Postcard section, where the owners of the webpage post photos and information from all of the places they have travelled.  There are Articles and Editorials, an RV Education section featuring dozens and dozens of class notes from seminar courses offered at rallies, etc.  as well as recommended apps, products and so much more.  The RVers mailbox is the main place for asking your questions, as well as helping to answer the questions of other RVers. “We ask you to participate in two ways. First, we invite you to send along your comments or questions for posting below. But equally important, we invite you to read through the mailbox, and respond directly to the person posting the question or comment. We’ll include the email address for all items requesting reader response — so you can click on it and contact the writer directly”. This is a great place to share your knowledge and gain some new knowledge from the experience of others as well! You can also keep up with them on the RVersonline Facebook page.  Do you have any favorite online resources that you’d like to share with us?
