TV Article 'Frozen' short's new song hits iTunes By Esther Zuckerman Published on March 12, 2015 06:22PM EDT Photo: Disney Get ready to add a new Frozen song to your rotation of “Let It Go” and “For the First Time in Forever.” A new tune, “Making Today a Perfect Day,” from songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen-Anderson Lopez, is featured in the animated short Frozen Fever, and can now be purchased on iTunes. The song and short find Elsa (Idina Menzel) battling a cold as she tries to plan a birthday party for her sister Anna (Kristen Bell). Elsa is attempting to make “today a perfect day,” but when she has a cold, it’s not just a cold. In fact, her sneezes produce cute, mischievous mini snowmen, snowgies. And if you still haven’t gotten over “Let It Go,” Menzel does sing a snippet of the Oscar-winning hit. (“A cold doesn’t bother [her] anyway.” Get it?) The short plays before Disney’s weekend release Cinderella.
