REMINDER: US-131 - Stadium Dr reconstruction starts Monday

Reconstruction of the US-131 interchange at Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo is set to start Monday, March 30. Throughout construction, updates will be issued to keep motorists informed of what’s happening with construction, what lanes and ramps are open or closed, as well as other developments.
What work is coming up next week?
Stadium Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction throughout construction starting early Monday morning between Venture Park Drive and Drake Road. Northbound and southbound Drake Road will have turn lanes closed to accommodate the lane closures on Stadium Drive.
There will be nightly lane closures on US-131 starting next week. A traffic shift will be in place on US-131 during bridge construction.
The loop ramps at US-131 and Stadium Drive will be closed after midnight Sunday, March 29, and will be closed throughout construction. Detours are posted for these ramp closures.
- Southbound US-131 to eastbound Stadium Drive.
- Westbound Stadium Drive to southbound US-131.
- Northbound US-131 to westbound Stadium Drive.
- Eastbound Stadium Drive to northbound US-131.
The long ramps at US-131 and Stadium Drive will remain open throughout construction.
- Northbound US-131 to eastbound Stadium Drive.
- Westbound Stadium Drive to northbound US-131.
- Southbound US-131 to westbound Stadium Drive.
- Eastbound Stadium Drive to southbound US-131.
