On this Maryland Day, we continue with a conversation about a new immersive theater piece that links two iconic Baltimore figures: Edgar Allan Poe and Enoch Pratt. Glenn Ricci won a Ruby Artist Award last year to develop a theater piece about Poe, which will take place in a house at the corner of Monument Street and Park Avenue, built by Enoch Pratt in 1846, just three years before Poe’s death. The show is called The Mesmeric Revelations! of Edgar Allan Poe, and it’s being produced in cooperation with the Maryland Historical Society. Glenn Ricci joins Tom Hall this morning, along with Burt Kummerow, the Executive Director of the Historical Society.
