We wanted to share with our readers that the release of the Spring 2015 edition marks the 10th anniversary of Allergic Living magazine.
The team and I are proud of this milestone, and we couldn’t have done it without you – our readers, our friends.
When Allergic Living’s inaugural issues published back in 2005, the idea was to test whether there really was an “allergy community” in need to serve. Was there ever! In keeping with the rapid rise of allergies, the magazine quickly drew thousands upon thousands of supportive readers. By 2011, we branched out into distinct U.S. and Canadian Allergic Living editions.
I just want to say a huge “Thank You!” to everyone for subscribing, for telling us your families’ stories of life with allergies and celiac disease, for your feedback and your incredible words of support.

I’m also so appreciative of the allergists and other specialists who give generously of their time to help our journalists. And a big thanks to the great partners we work with in our mission to serve, including FARE, AAFA, NFCA, AAAAI, Anaphylaxis Canada, the Canadian Celiac Association and all our much-valued advertising sponsors.
My personal favorite word that this community uses is “inclusion”. Thanks to everyone who has included our magazine in their lives. We look forward to inspiring you and having breakthroughs to report in the next decade ahead.
