So much for "Satisfaction Thursday."

That's the event The Rolling Stones have been promoting via social media and mysterious billboards across the country, with all signs pointing to the rock legends announcing a massive summer concert tour on Thursday, March 19.

On Wednesday, a source confirmed to The Tennessean that the band was set to perform at Nashville's LP Field this June.

And then Thursday came...and went, with no big announcement from The Rolling Stones. What happened?

Mayor Dean's office confirmed that the announcement had been delayed, but had no further information.

Many are pointing to Nashville's WKRN, which reported that a ticketing issue was the reason for the delay. A spokesperson at the band's publicity firm said "There is no announcement scheduled at this time. When we have information will of course let you know."

Thankfully, no one is suggesting the tour itself is delayed. The June show would mark the Rolling Stones' first concert in Nashville since 2002, when they played at Bridgestone Arena, formerly known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center. They previously performed in Nashville in 1997, 1972 and 1965.
