Trish Regan, a business-news anchor who has worked at both Bloomberg and CNBC, will join Fox Business Network April 6.

Regan  will serve as a markets reporter and business anchor for FBN, and also provide financial commentary across Fox News Channel programs and on FOXBusiness.com.

“We’re excited to welcome Trish to the FBN team and look forward to utilizing her broad industry contacts, along with her expertise in international economies,” said Bill Shine, senior executive vice president of programming at Fox Business and Fox News, in a prepared statement.

Regan joined Bloomberg from CNBC in 2011, and anchored “Street Smart,” a program centered on the close of the stock market. She also anchored a series of the network’s primetime specials as well as the 2012 Presidential campaign coverage. Prior to that, she worked at CNBC for about four years, where she covered the markets and also anchored documentaries. She has also worked as a financial correspondent for “CBS Evening News” and an anchor at CBS affiliate KPIX.

Regan spent time working in the emerging debt markets group at Goldman Sachs and at hedge fund DE Shaw while pursuing a degree in American History at Columbia University.
