    Air India SATS Airport Services gets ISAGO certification by IATA

    ISAGO audit is conducted in a standardised and consistent manner using internationally recognised quality auditing principles, according to an AISATS statement.

    HYDERABAD: Air India SATS Airport Services Pvt Ltd (AISATS) today said it has received the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certification for adhering to high safety standards at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and at its headquarters in Mumbai.
    ISAGO audit is conducted in a standardised and consistent manner using internationally recognised quality auditing principles, according to an AISATS statement.

    "The certification ensures safer ground operations, fewer accidents and injuries, uniform audit processes, eliminates redundant audits and effectively improves quality standards," it said.

    Key parameters like organisation and management, load control, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling and loading and aircraft ground movement were taken into account by IATA while certifying AISATS.

    AISATS CEO Willy Ko said, "Our other business units are working on achieving this certification too. The ISAGO certification substantiates AISATS as a trusted partner in setting industry benchmarks in ground handling business."
