The story of Barbalu is the marriage (literally) of husband and wife team Stefano BARBAgallo and Adriana LUque. Their unique Italian restaurant located in the heart of the Seaport District has been one of the first to open since 2006. Originally from Italy, Stefano has resided in NYC for over 23 years and now brings his flavor to the Seaport. Influenced by both northern and southern regions of Italy, the chef specializes in simple, classic Italian-made-dishes with top quality produce.
