In the A-Z of Marketing what are P & Q for?

Hi <<First Name>>

Minding your Ps and Qs in life is essential, if you’re going to get by. It’s also vital in business if you want to create the best reputation and it’s essential in marketing, if you want to grow your business and attract perfect clients.

This issue of Scribbles looks at two elements of minding your Ps and Qs. I hope you enjoy reading about them and find them useful.

Best wishes,

In the A-Z of Marketing P & Q are for …

P is for Pictures

Do you know who first said that a picture paints a thousand words? It’s not that clear, but what is clear is the importance of good profile pictures in your marketing.

Here are some of my favourite examples and plenty of tips on what makes a good (or bad) picture to use, when you’re promoting your business.

Q is for Queen Bee

How can you create a real buzz about your business? How can you become a Queen Bee and attract all the ideal clients and followers that you need, to be able to grow your business?

I’ll give you a clue – it’s about asking the right Questions at networking meetings.

And here’s the full answer on how you can do it.

Up next in the A-Z of Marketing are R and S. Rabbits and Squirrels or Relationship Marketing and Segmentation? You’ll have to wait until next month to find out!

Mind Your Ps and Qs

Do you mind your Ps and Qs in your marketing? The phrase “Mind your Ps and Qs” is an English language expression meaning “mind your manners”, “mind your language” or “be on your best behaviour”.

I believe that is it still very important to mind your manners and your language in your marketing. There is no need to use words or phrases that someone people might find offensive, just to try to stand out. There is no need to resort to bad manners at networking events. Keep it clean and you’ll attract the right sort of clients to your business.
