Von Miller, Broncos support charity with custom cleats

Though the NFL normally cracks down on players wearing custom footwear, this week will be an exception.

As part of the #MyCauseMyCleats social campaign, hundreds of players will don personalized cleats supporting charity foundations of their choice. Uni Watch's Paul Lukas took a look at some of the most interesting designs, including that of Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller.

Miller's pair of cleats features an eye-chart theme as a nod to his charity, Von's Vision, which provides eye care and corrective eyeware for low-income Denver children:

Among other Broncos with custom cleats for the occasion are wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and cornerback Chris Harris Jr.:

This is the first year of the #MyCauseMyCleats campaign, but with so many players embracing the opportunity, it wouldn't be a surprise to see it become an annual staple.
