A reward of $10,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of a Toronto-area bank robber they’ve dubbed the "well-dressed" bandit.

Toronto police and the Canadian Bankers Association announced the reward Wednesday morning.

Staff-Insp. Mike Earl said the suspect committed four robberies between Oct. 23 to Nov. 10 of 2014 throughout the Toronto area.

During the first robbery, he showed up at a bank near Rogers Road and Keele Street dressed in a suit and a tie, as if he was attending a job interview, Earl said.

In all of the robberies, the suspect was armed, and in two cases, he concealed the weapon in a portfolio. In all of the cases, the suspect entered the bank branches and handed the teller a note, demanding a specific sum of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 45 and 60 years old, standing 5'10 to 6'2 in height, with a medium build. During all of the robberies he was seen wearing sunglasses and carrying a tan-coloured portfolio.

Police believe the suspect is armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police at 416-808-7350 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
