TORONTO – A Grey Cup mug, a high school football jacket and a sweatshirt are among some of the new items Coun. Rob Ford listed on eBay as he continues to sell belongings from his controversial term as mayor.
Ford announced the new listings via Twitter Sunday, accompanying other items like the tie he wore on the day he first admitted to smoking crack cocaine.
The necktie, emblazoned with NFL logos, was placed on eBay just a few days ago and has received bids of more than a whopping $14,000 as of Sunday evening.

Among the new items listed include a sweatshirt that Ford describes as the one he wore while jogging with a National Post reporter in 2012. It’s currently going for more than $500.
Like many of the other items posted, the description says it is the original and “not a reproduction – there is only one of these in existence.” Ford has said 10 per cent of the sales will go to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the rest will go to charity.
The sweatshirt appears to be the same one he wore in an infamous photo with with three men, one of whom was 21-year-old Anthony Smith who was shot and killed outside a Toronto nightclub. The picture is alleged by police to have been taken outside the house where a video of Ford smoking crack cocaine was shot.

Also listed is a football jacket the former mayor wore while he coached a high-school football team, the Don Bosco Eagles. During his tenure as coach he was criticized for leaving council meetings to coach, in one incident reportedly ordering TTC buses to pick up his players.
Ford was removed as coach following the initial reports of him smoking what appeared to be crack cocaine, along with comments he made regarding the Don Bosco community.
The sitting councillor is also auctioning off a “Mayor Ford” Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey, pyjama pants he was once seen wearing at a Wal-Mart, his Grey Cup mug, a poster and autographed photos. The items come with “a signed, original, Certificate of Authenticity from Councillor Rob Ford himself.”
After a tumultuous four years, that included a stint in rehab, Ford ran for re-election last fall, but withdrew after being diagnosed with cancer. His brother Doug ran in his place, but lost to John Tory.
Ford instead ran for city council where he was elected in Ward 2.
