BBC Two has released a trailer for Nurse, starring The Fast Show‘s Paul Whitehouse.

The four-part “poignant character comedy drama” begins at 10pm on Tuesday 10 March on BBC Two.

Whitehouse plays eight different characters whose lives are connected by Liz (Esther Coles), an overstretched Community Mental Health Nurse.

The first episode introduces some of the patients that Liz encounters during her home visits. Amongst those are Lorrie (Cecilia Noble) and her over-friendly, nosey neighbour Maurice (Whitehouse), overweight Graham (Whitehouse) and his feeder mother (Rosie Cavaliero), elderly rake Herbert (Whitehouse), cat lady April (Rosie Cavaliero) and agoraphobic Billy (Whitehouse) and his ex-con friend (Simon Day).
