Metro, Sumner, Williamson cancel classes for Thursday

Several school districts have announced cancellations for Thursday because of inclement weather.

Here are the districts who have called off classes:

• Metro Nashville schools are closed on Thursday.

• Cheatham County schools will close. District day cares and the central office will operate on snow hours.
• Dickson County schools will close. All inclement weather day care sites will be open.
• Robertson County schools will close. Day care facilities will remain open.
• Rutherford County schools will close.
• Sumner County schools closed.
• Williamson County Schools will close. Extended care will be open at snow sites.
• Wilson County Schools will be close Thursday. The Extended School Program will open at 8 a.m. and the Teacher Learning Centers will not be open.
