Do GLood
Do GLood is an employee-driven initiative at Greenlight that supports causes in need of donations or volunteering.
This year, our employees have identified two Ukrainian charities for donation, packaged donated goods for Red Door Family Shelter, and created a STEM scholarship for Georges Vanier Secondary School.
Through GLAAM, our education-focused initiative, our team offers mentorship to RPA students at academic organizations such as George Brown College.
More About GLAAM
GLAAM, Greenlight’s Academic Alliance & Mentoring Program, was launched following a hackathon in 2021 with UiPath and University Health Network (UHN). We partnered with UHN to define the current state of their ambulatory clinic check-in process and a problem statement describing their pain points.
Students told us how valuable the experience was to apply learnings – in RPA, business analysis, critical thinking, and time management – to a real-world problem. Inspired by what we heard, GLAAM was created with the vision to elevate student learning by providing use cases our team has previously solved, and to mentor aspiring RPA talent to help them achieve their goals of certification and employment.
Recently, we partnered with UiPath to provide educators with access to our use cases (found on UiPath’s Academic Alliance platform). Whether you’re a student or a professional, give our capstone a try!
Capstone: Northwest Construction
This capstone project is intended to provide support for educational institutions that have an RPA program, however, anyone who is learning RPA can utilize the resource for practice.
In addition to gaining experience with UiPath Studio, you can learn and utilize UiPath’s Document Understanding and Action Center, which are in high demand in the industry.
