Jack Whitehall commented: β€œIt’s very exciting to be bringing Bad Education to the big screen. It’s great to be reunited one last time with my amazing class of kids before they get ripped apart by puberty. We wanted this film to be about the mother of all school trips but sadly the Cumberland Pencil Museum wouldn’t let us film there so we have gone for Cornwall instead.”

The official synopsis reads: “Alfie Wickers is probably the worst teacher to (dis)grace the English education system, but no one cares about their pupils quite as much as Alfie does. Having completed their GCSEs, Alfie is keen for his class to join him on one last hurrah and what follows is a coming of age story like no other.”

The Bad Education Movie is co-written by Jack Whitehall and Freddy Syborn (Bad Education) and directed by Elliot Hegarty (Bad Education).
