Doubts over legal case against greyhound industry

The fallout from ABC TV's Four Corners greyhound industry expose continues, with inquiries underway in several states, and the list of resignations and suspensions rising daily.

The crisis was sparked when animal welfare activists covertly filmed piglets, possums, and rabbits being used as live bait in secret greyhound training sessions.

There is doubt, however, about the strength of any legal case that would rely on incriminating footage, because it was obtained illegally.
