Philharmonic Student Composers' Concert 

On March 4th, ten CMU student composers will present the world premieres of their orchestral pieces with the CMU Philharmonic conducted by Andrés Cárdenes, Daniel Nesta Curtis, and Guy Victor Bordo. The program will feature: 
Stephen Murphy: Legendary 
Ethem Emre Guney: Impromptu for orchestra 
Xiao Liang: Turret Memories 
Chung Wan Choi: Remarks 
Evan Jay Williams: Building Music 
Daniel Arnaldos: Everybody must have a fantasy 
Dayton Kinney: Dreaming Sequence 
Jean-Patrick Besingrand: L’echo d’un lointain souvenir 
Davis Good: Andromeda 
Adam Shield: Carnival of Chaos
Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic

$5 General Admission

2015 Concerto Competition Winners Announced

The winners of the 2015 Concerto Compeition are Evan Kahn, cello (undergraduate) and Greta Mutlu, violin (graduate). 

Both winners will be offered the opportunity to perform as soloists with the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic in the 2015/16 concert season.
