The fourth annual Mount Dora Seafood Festival is Aug. 25-26, 2018. Expect food and specialty items, crafts, pirates and live music in the Festival City about 35 miles from Orlando.

Activities are centered around Elizabeth Evans Park, 100 N. Donnelly St. Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Aug. 26. Details: mountdoraseafoodfestival.com

Admission is free, but some events such as the Landlubber Seafood Sampling Tour have a fee. The self-guided tour of restaurants and shops begins at noon at the Olive Branch Mediterranean Grille & Bar (115 W. Third Ave.), where folks can pick up maps and more info. In addition to more than 100 vendors, there also will be a kid zone and shucking contest, where the winner will receive $500.
