Celebrate School Social Work Week
Join us March 1-7, 2015 Using Hashtag #MASSW15
Help us celebrate SSW Week and educate others about School Social Work!
This week, MASSW is hosting a social media campaign and we need your participation.
What do you LOVE about being a school social worker? How can you describe the feeling of joy you get when a young life is changed for the better? We would like you to share it with others using "selfies" and the hashtag #massw15.
Three easy steps!
The process is easy:
- Download the School Social Workers... sign (click here) and complete it in type or with a thick marker.
- Take a photo of yourself holding the sign. (You might have to have someone else take the photo.)
- Share it in any or all of these ways:
- Send it to us at socialmedia@masswmi.org
- Send it out on Twitter using the #massw15 hashtag
- Post it on Facebook using the #massw15 hashtag
Then check the front page of the MASSW Website to see your posting.
Can others join in? You betcha!
Talk to colleagues, students, teachers, parents, and administrators and ask them to fill-out the School Social Workers... sign (click here) as well. Students may participate - but please make sure you have asked appropriate permissions. You may also have more than one person in a photo.
Do they have to use our sign? No, but please make sure the hashtag #massw15 is included.
When do you want us to post our photos? You can send them to us now and we'll release them slowly throughout the week. If you plan on posting to social media directly, please start this weekend. Please also repeat the message in the posting along with #massw15.
