The NACOLE Annual Scholarship Fund is an opportunity for individuals to seek financial support to attend the 21st NACOLE annual conference in Riverside, California, October 4-8, 2015. The scholarships are open to a diverse group of individuals including current members, students, community members and individuals interested in the oversight of law enforcement.
 
There are three Scholarship categories to consider:
 
The Founders’ Community Scholarship Award supports grassroots and community members and/or law enforcement members whose attendance at the conference will benefit their communities and whose commitment to civilian oversight will be reinforced by their participation. 
 
The Presidents’ Scholarship Award supports early-career professionals, volunteers and students whose attendance at the annual conference will strengthen their interest and commitment to the field.
 
The Membership Scholarship Award will support individuals in all NACOLE membership categories – Regular, Associate, Organizational and Student.
 
NACOLE intends to award at least three scholarships. Each scholarship will cover the cost of early conference registration and up to $500 of travel related expenses.
 
The deadline to submit a NACOLE Scholarship Fund Application is May 1, 2015.
