Best big companies to work for

Running a large multi-national corporation isn’t easy. And when you truly care about workplace culture, focusing on the needs of each individual employee makes it that much more difficult, especially when you’re looking after the care of hundreds of thousands of dedicated workers and their families.

When we compile our ranking of the 100 Best Companies to Work For each year, we take into account the sentiments from employees from every area of each business. Responses to our survey are considered evenly, weighing the thoughts and experiences of executives equally with front-line workers. But when we look at the challenges faced by large global companies, we realized that ranking them alongside smaller businesses doesn’t always seem fair, since the business challenges are much different depending on the size and scope of each company.

For the second year running, we’ve compiled a list of the Best Big Companies to Work For, recognizing the efforts and successes of businesses that have more than 100,000 employees—and that have created a Great Place to Work For All.

This year’s ranking boasts 18 large multi-national organizations that have learned how to build trust across their global organizations, and whose employees have said they love their employer. You’ll see a number of recognizable brands that don’t appear on our list of the 100 Best, but whose engagement scores are significantly high when taking their workforce size into account. Each one of them have made a commitment to building a stellar workplace culture and have created a Great Place to Work For All.
