LOS ANGELES — Authorities searched a neighborhood in South Los Angeles Wednesday morning for a Westminster suspect who fled on foot at the end of a pursuit.

California Highway Patrol officers in Orange County began pursuit of two suspects in a vehicle just after 3 a.m., and the chase ended at 4:10 a.m. in the area of 65th and San Pedro streets, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi.

A perimeter was set up, and one suspect was taken into custody, Polizzi said. A second suspect is at-large.

The suspects were wanted for a burglary in Westminster, and speeds during the pursuit topped 100 mph, ABC7 reported.
