McConnell and Alexander Introduce NLRB Reform Act
Friday, January 30, 2015

Immediately after last November’s mid-term elections, we reported on some of the labor law changes Republicans might attempt once gaining control of the Senate.  See our prior post here.

As predicted, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Lamar Alexander, Chairman of the Labor Committee, have introduced the “NLRB Reform Act,” Senate Bill 288.  The bill would increase the number of NLRB members from five to six; give parties 30 days to file in federal court for review of agency action, and reduce NLRB funding if the agency does not handle cases promptly.  A copy of the Senators’ press release announcing the bill can be found here.

A copy of the introduced bill can be found here.
