Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose proved many doubters wrong by taking a photo for Instagram. The two former Bulls teammates spotted each other at a Dodgers game in L.A. where both are players reportedly training for next season.

Butler posted the photo to his IG account with no caption, but the photo of Butler, Rose and his son P.J. makes this picture speak a thousand words to prove they're not beefing anymore.

It was never a secret that former Bulls teammates Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler had an acrimonious working relationship together. For  many years, DRose carried the team towards playoff contention from 2011-2013 with former head coach Tom Thibodeau, but was also sidelined for multiple season-ending injuries from 2012-2015.

After Tom Thibodeau was fired from the team in 2015, incumbent Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg deemed Jimmy Butler as the team's best player to be almost as good as Michael Jordan. That along with shade from Butler detailing how he doesn't respect Rose's work ethic, other weird shots in the press from Hoiberg at the 2011 MVP, plus Jimmy Butler admitting that either he or Rose had to leave the team proved that the Bulls were not DRose's team anymore.  After he was traded to the Knicks in June, it's easy to speculate that the tension between Rose and Butler would take awhile to be diffused.

It's been two months since DRose left Chicago, and feels excited (and overconfident) about being in New York. With time and space away from each other this summer, they seem to be getting along just fine now.
