Presenting on "Anger Management for Teens Dealing with Resentment and Abandonment Issues"

Course Abstract:

To gain an understanding on how certain family dynamics can impact anger and aggressive behavior. To understand that anger is a normal adaptive behavior and not necessarily problematic. So, the question is  What is Anger? How is it manifested? 

 

Course Objectives:

  1. To understand how not getting specific social/emotional needs met from your primary caretaker in the earlier part of development can affects an individual behavior.
  2. How Anger is the indicator that a particular need is not being met in the moment.
  3. To help clients become aware of when anger becomes problematic?
