For 11 former Alabama football players, the ultimate job interview awaits.

The group was among the 300-plus invited to the NFL scouting combine Feb. 17-23 in Indianapolis. Auburn, for comparison, will have seven former players at the combine. Florida State has the most participants with 12 while Alabama's 11 is tied with Louisville for second. A year ago, Alabama has 12 players participating in Lucas Oil Field.

Of Alabama's list, eight played on the offense a year ago. Only linebackers Xzavier Dickson, Trey DePriest and safety Landon Collins will represent the defense.

Only three regular starters as seniors weren't invited, offensive lineman Leon Brown, safety Nick Perry and tight end Brian Vogler.

The top three receivers will be there including potential top-10 pick Amari Cooper, Christion Jones and DeAndrew White. Blake Sims was one of 15 quarterbacks invited. Auburn's Nick Marshall was listed under the passers despite playing cornerback at the Senior Bowl last month.

Jalston Fowler is one of only two fullbacks invited along with Rutgers' Michael Burton.

The SEC has the most invitees with 68 as every school but Vanderbilt sent at least one team, according to NFL.com.
